Stop rising gas prices. Most individuals, families, companies can not keep up with the cost of gas. Gas price increases in turn increase prices of everything else. Companies continue to keep pay increases at a minimum so the majority are bringing home less now then ever. Impose limits on oil speculators. Oil speculators buy and sell oil futures simply to make a profit, and in many cases, never take delivery or use the oil. Speculators who buy and sell large amounts of oil can artificially cause the per barrel price to climb.
