    Chairman Gensler,

It is time for tougher regulation on oil speculators. It is ridiculous when gas prices jump 30-40 cents per gallon in the morning, drop 15 cents in the afternoon and then raise back up again by about 10 cents in the evening. It is also very funny that gas prices take nice big jumps from 20-40 cents per gallon but when they come back down it is in increments of 5 cents if we are lucky.

When people have to choose between medication, food or fuel, something is terribly wrong. Speculators need to stop jacking up the commodity prices to line thier own pockets in turn disrupting the economy. I will also be sending letters to my Congressional Representatives as well and will continue to monitor the Justice Department investigation into this matter. It is time that this issue gets the attention that it deserves.

    Respectfully,

    Ray Broughton
