It is such a hard world to live in when rich men are getting richer and the poor is getting poorer. It took me over 9 months to find a job, and when I did, it was located 25 miles from home. I am making $10.50 an hour as a property manager and have to cut back on food just so I can ensure I will have enough money for gas to make it back and forth to work. Not to mention the medicines I need to take or the upkeep on my car including insurance. How does this country expect those that make minimum wage to survive with food, shelter and clothing with the price of gas? All of the rich men who are making hand over fist profit from the gas hike should be forced to give 10% back to Americans. Crime rates will rise with the gas prices. I already feel the need to buy a gun for my own protection. This is a monopoly that is out of control. Cut back federal government employee pay. Tax the rich more and leave healthcare alone. If the rich would give a little instead of being so greedy, we all could live a little easier. If we all revert back to horse and carriage and bartering, what would the government do then? Maybe they would begin to starve? Wouldn't that be the cherry on top of a poor mans sundae.
