Something needs to be done about the rising price of fuel and it has to be done NOW!!!

The increase cost of fuel and subsequent increase cost of food and services is killing the middle class and will erase what little economic recovery we have made. It is getting to the point where the middle class has cut out, cut back and have gone without and we are reaching our breaking point. Many have forgone medications, groceries etc in order to put fuel in their vehicles so that they can get to their jobs to earn enough money to put the fuel back into their vehicles for the next week.

The most disgusting part of the increase in fuel prices is how it is so easily manipulated by speculators who drive the cost per barrell up by purchasing huge quantities of oil that they never take delivery of or use. Why is that not ILLEGAL!!! Not to mention the billions of dollars in profits as well as tax subsidies the oil companies get off the backs of the middle class.

This country can only take so much before it breaks and we are close to a breaking point.
