We need to review and change how oil is bought and sold as a commodity. This is not the only issue that faces the American public concerning high gasoline prices but this will help to lower cost.
Either we take oil off as a commodity or we adjust the way we are allow the speculators to buy and sell.
One suggestion would be to make the speculators take possesion of the oil they buy and make them store in their facilities untill they sell.
This is getting out of hand and we need to get the price of oil back down to where its affordable no only for gasoline but for the plastics industry as well.
Many companies cannot afford to by the resin they need to mold items without passing that cost on to consumers. Once they do that with the cost of energy sky rocketing the average consumer is using the money for food, medicines, and other items just to buy gas so he can drive to work.
More people will go on goverment programs because they can't afford the high costs any more and the ones that are working cannot support the ones that don't work and still make ends meet.
