Due to the huge burden that increasing gas prices are placing on the American population in general and my family and friends specifically, I respectfully request that you impose restrictions on oil speculators to help curb the almost daily increase in gas prices. For the middle class working people the current cost of gas is rapidly becoming unbearable as we try to get our children to school, ourselves to work and maintain other fixed montly expenditures which almost never decrease but often increase, such as power bills, medication and food expenses, and insurance premiums among many other things. Without your intervention I feel that I can safely say that there will be many adults and children that will have to do without many necessities as they try to find ways to cut back other expenses to have gas money. I can only imagine that if this trend continues, that this nation will be right back into the recession that we have fought so hard to come out of.

Please consider the options available to you that would help with this current matter. Thank you in advance for your time and consideraiton of this letter.
