Dear Lady and Gentlemen on the Commission,
I have two requests:
First, please limit trading in silver to under 1,500 trades. Having sustained major losses in the stock market, I am now trying to recoup my losses by making modest investments in silver futures. But in a market dominated by banks and other extremely rich traders, it is not fair to the rest of us. Please make the playing field at least a little level. Thank you.
My second request is a more humanitarian request. Speculation in areas that directly affect the well-being of people who have no direct relationship to markets should not be allowed. Specifically, speculation in food, energy, water, currencies, and all areas that dramatically affect the day-to-day existence of poor and middle-class people should, in my opinion, not be allowed. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
