It just seems that not having a limit on short positions, particularly in smaller commodity markets, such as silver, makes manipulation of those markets easier. This is especially true when large financial organizations, banks, and hedge funds, etc. bring massive capital resources to bear in limited markets. The Hunt Brothers did it the old fashioned way - I can only imagine turning them loose in today's market with unlimited short possiblities.
