Dear Sirs,
To be frank I have not reviewed the details of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Strategic Plan, 2011-2015. I am sure it has been thought thru in detail and is a finely crafted document. I am happy to leave the word smithing to others as long as the end result will put some shine back into the market place by removing the corrosive practices that appear to be taking place on your watch. These practices are undermining the rules of engagement for a free and open market. Rules which are the harbinger of an honest and robust society.
It takes but two individuals to make a deal but many to make a market. A free and open market will find true value and once found the individual and society benefit because that is when real value creation starts. Creating value is the engine upon which much of this great country can find its essence.
Let's put some lustre back into our system. Please do what is necessary to keep the market manipulators at bay so that the real market place can get back to its role of creating value and improving a great country.
