I strongly urge you to curb excessive gambling in the commodities market, especially in food and oil. These excesses put undue hardship on people of limited means, not only in the U.S., but worldwide, and should be avoided, as they are a big factor in bringing about political instability, at home and abroad.
We therefore urge you to permit no exceptions or exemptions to the already weak rules which are in place now, or suggest you tighten rules to truly curb excessive speculation at last.
