    Comment Text:

My name is Darlene Friese and I work as a Flight Attendant, driving 60 miles round trip between my home and Chicago's O'Hare airport.

I urge the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission to curb excessive gambling in commodities like food and oil.

It is clear that excessive speculation is largely responsible for today's higher, volatile commodity prices, as indicated by many respected institutional studies such as Princeton, Yale and the United Nations.

Hardships result from speculation and clearly hurt families struggling to make ends meet. Wall Street gamblers should not be allowed to gamble with the lives of so many Americans trying to survive our volatile economy. I thought I lived in the United States of America...not the United States of Corporations and Greed!
