    Comment Text:

I am Nancy A Knudson I have been unemployed for nearly two years and the rising food and gas prices are taking a huge toll on me as I am nearing the end of my unemployment.

I urge you to curb excessive gambling in commodities markets like food and oil.

Speculation imposes financial hardships on families like mine all across the country. Sudden rises in gas and food prices force us to make difficult decisions and sacrifices. Especially right now, with so many families struggling, and unemployment barely beginning to decrease, we cannot allow speculators to unduly affect our food and gas prices.

Please put in place effective position limits rules, and do not allow them to be undermined by exemptions or exceptions, or allow Wall Street gamblers to escape them.

I like many others in this country cannot afford a repeat of the 2008 food and gas price bubbles, so we are all depending on the CFTC to hold a strong stance against this activity. It is not only unamerican but it is also unconscienable to burden us all any further just to make money.

    Sincerely,

    Nancy A Knudson
