On March 8, 2011, a conference call was held with Eurex Deutschland (Eurex) in which they discussed their latency measurement system. In attendance from the Commission were Melissa Mitchell and Christopher Russel-Wood. Vassilis Vergotis, Wolfgang Eholzer and Thom Thompson represented Eurex. The purpose of the conference call was to learn about the systems that Eurex uses to measure latency of electronic trades and what technology is required to measure and report that information. The conference call did not involve discussion of any substantive aspects of the Commission’s proposed rule on Co-Location
