There's no doubt in my mind that the current inflated gasoline prices are being pushed higher by oil speculators. While this has been continually happening for years, nothing has been done to stop the price gougers who make it economically impossible for normal citizens to exist. I have long felt that the way the world will attack the US with the intent to bring us to our knees would be financially. They tried to destroy us by destroying the World Trace Center, and they have attacked our oil prices continually. I bet that if we investigated the speculators TOTALLY that we'd find a connection to the Middle East and ultimately to terrorism.
I beg you to stop the rampant speculation in oil. Supplies are plentiful, access is continuing and there are more untapped sources of oil. It's repulsive to think that oil companies claim record profits year after year, and there isnt anything done to stop it. Please take whatever steps necessary to stop the rape of the American consumer.
