I am appalled that the Futures Industry Association, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association have suggested in their Dec 28 letter that the standard for market manipulation should be "extreme reckless manipulation". If anything the standard needs to be strengthened from "reckless manipulation" not diluted to something like "extreme reckless" manipulation.
We do not tolerate reckless manipulation behavior from our children, why should we tolerate if from financial professionals?
Please do not dilute the proposed standard, rather please make it stronger!
