Proposal for Federal Speculative Position Limits for Referenced Energy
Contracts and Associated Regulations
On May 4, 2010, Ben Hirst, General Counsel of Delta Airlines, and Paul Architzel of Alston &
Bird LLP, met with Commissioner Sommers to discuss the comment letter filed by Delta
Airlines in connection with the Commission's proposed rulemaking regarding Federal
Speculative Position Limits for Referenced Energy Contracts and Associated Regulations.
Marcia Blase and Michael Otten of Commissioner Sommers' staff were also present at the
meeting.
