commenter_subject: 10:1 leverage is a joke, you're all a joke
commenter_comments: You are doing small traders in America a great
injustice by setting the maximum margin requirement
to 10:1. My trading had to significantly change
when my leverage went from 200:1 to 100:1. I
understand you are protecting the people who treat
the markets as a slot machine and the rich. But I
think proper investor education on your part about
risk management is more important than setting a
maximum leverage requirement and punishing those
who DO NOT treat the markets as a slot machine.
Your new and proposed rules favor market makers who
take the opposing trade rather than straight
through processed commission based brokers. Your
proposed and soon to be existing rules protect,
benefit and promote the secret and non-transparent
brokerages, while punish those who are transparent.
There is no "change." What you are doing only
helps the top echelon of trading and I think you
all need to get your head out of your asses and do
something to educate the idiots instead of making
us all suffer. Was the bailout with the American
peoples tax dollars not enough for your rich
friends? You and your friends want to suck dry my
opportunities too? I don't get bailed out when I
screw up. I bail myself out. And I don't want
people to suffer from my actions, but you are
making ME and OTHER traders suffer from the actions
and ideas of the idiotic and rich.
Whoever agrees to pass these ridiculous rules, I
wish you and your family very bad health, bad
wealth and a very slow and painful death.
A very angry small trader/college student/future of
America who will be in debt and sucked dry of
opportunity because of your actions,i0-001
