Dear Sir:
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the issue of position limits for precious metals,
especially Silver.
Please establish a speculative position limit in COMEX silver of no more than 1000 contracts.
Please do not allow ANY hedging exemptions from these limits includin~ banks which have
been huge offenders in this regard.
Please stop the levels of concentration in COMEX silver futures that have occurred over the last
few years on the short side of the market which have interfered with the normal market forces
driving the price of metals.
