Dear Sir;
I would like to personally thank you for holding the recent hearings on the issue of position limits for
precious metals. I believe it is vital to the free market system that a speculative position limit in
COMEX silver of no more than 1500 contracts be established and enforced by the CFTC. Also, I
would request that that any exemptions to this new limit be granted to only legitimate hedgers. Please
act now to stop the excessive short of silver COMEX positions that has dominated the market over the
last decade.
