Metals Hearing
Comex position limits
Dear Sirs.
I am very pleased to see the CFTC taking a serious look at the issue of position limits in the metals
market. I would like to add my support to imposing limits of 1500 contracts in the silver market.
More importantly however is to eliminate any entity from being exempt of these limits unless they
are legitimately a hedger in the industry and not just a financial institution. Imposing limits and not
doing so would be pointless and not reduce the massive short position accumulated by a couple of
organizations which is at the heart of the problem.
