Position Limits for Precious Metals
Dear Sir;
I would like to take the opportunity to comment on the issue of position limits for precious metals. I
believe that it is very important that speculative position limits in COMEX silver and gold contracts be
established. I think it is also important to restrict hedging exemptions from those limits to legitimate
hedgers. The levels of concentration in COMEX futures (particularly silver short positions) that have
been ongoing must be curtailed so that a free market can exist.
