Gentlemen:
I am a long time silver investor and have been concerned for years about
concentration in COMEX of silver futures levels on the short side and
appreciate the opportunity to comment on the issue of position limits
for precious metals. You really need to establish a speculative position
limit in COMEX silver futures in the range of 1000 to 1500 contracts.
Please also restrict any hedging exemptions from the established limits
to legitimate hedgers.
