Silver Market Hearing Comment
Dear Sir or Madam,
I appreciate the opportunity to comment on the issue of position limits for precious metals. I'm
especially concerned about the silver market. Please establish a speculative position limit in
COMEX silver of no more than 1500 contracts. Also, please restrict any hedging exemptions from
those limits to legitimate hedgers. Most importantly, please put a stop to the levels of
concentration in COMEX silver futures which have existed during the past few years on the short
side of the market. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
