    Metals Hearing
    metals position limits
    CFTC Commissioners,
I want to congratulate you on finally holding hearings on metals position limits this past Thursday, March 25th.
Along with my friends and family I have been waiting for this day for many years now. It is our fondest wish that
you will finally end the manipulation of precious metals futures and bring about the fair markets. The total cost of
this ongoing fraud to me personally and the American people is beyond imagination. It has been a financial
disaster to me personally on numerous occasions most notably back in March of 2008 when I was holding a large
number of silver futures at the time Bear Stearns was taken over by JP Morgan. I think common sense dictates
precious metals should have soared at that time but against all logic the opposite happened. I hope the
commission will agree it is time to end the manipulation of the precious metals market and grant no exemptions
other than those who are legitimately hedging their production. I urge you to act in a responsible manner and end
the corrupt and manipulative trading practices of this county's most powerful financial interests.
Special word of thanks to Commissioner Chilton for his efforts in this matter.
    Regards,
    Terry Halver
