Metals Hearing
Public hearing commentary
Dear Sir;
Thank you for holding the recent public hearing on precious metals position limits and
giving private investors the opportunity to comment on the issue. To keep markets
healthy and free, and to keep its participants safe from possible manipulative corruption I
ask you today to please establish a speculative position limit in COMEX silver of no
more than 1500 contracts. Please also restrict any hedging exemptions from those limits
to legitimate hedgers, and please stop the levels of concentration in COMEX silver
futures that have been experienced over the past few years on the short side of the
market.
My family and I thank you for your protective efforts in this regard. It is sincerely
