comment on CFTC meeting on March 25
Dear Commissioners,
I want to add my voice to the many that I am sure will do the same and write to you on
this incredibly important issue. The meeting on 25th March was truly historic and I want to limit my
personal comments to that here though I could say so much more. A particular person jumps out
in the commission for particular praise in championing the matter and many will name him and
rightly so, and I have in the past too, but you
all
deserve a lot of thanks and praise for the work
you have done to bring this together.
Thank you, so much, for the opportunity to comment on the issue of position limits for precious
metals. Please establish a speculative position limit in COMEX silver of no more than
1500
contracts. Please restrict any hedging exemptions from those limits to legitimate hedgers. Please
stop the levels of concentration in COMEX silver futures that have been experienced over the past
few years on the short side of the market.
