Open Comment, CFTC Hearing of March 25
Thank for the opportunity to comment on the issue of position limits for precious metals. I have
reviewed the entire March 25 CFTC public hearing at length. I support the establishment a speculative
position limit in COMEX silver of no more than 1500 contracts. I request that the commission please
restrict any hedging exemptions from those limits to legitimate hedgers. Please stop the levels of
concentration in COMEX silver futures that have been experienced over the past few years on the short
side of the market. Thank you to Chairman Gensler for his indications tending toward leadership on this
long-overdue issue. Thank you also to Bart Chilton.
