I believe all commodities of ANY kind need to be regulated in such a way that protects the public from predatory practices such as high commissions and/or other fees. Also, ANY and all items that are to be traded must fall under rules and regulations that protect the public in general. Financial devices such as cryptocurrency and NFT's especially need attention because the technology can be manipulated in a manner that can easily defraud purchasers. Allowing these transactions to go unregulated will eventually cause issues, in my opinion.
