As a retail investor, my hands are already tied in the world of investing. So much data that is readily available to institutions and funds is not available to the small investors. Extending this sketchy non-requirement to disclose swap data is not only impactful to the everyday investor, but everyone who is not an investor. The data and positions in these swaps should be well known and reported on monthly at the minimum, preferably daily. If the data in these swap positions has already been hidden for 2 years, why is it so important to keep them hidden? Is there a systemic risk factor within some of these positions that is being hidden from the public?
