The process is slow and tedious. The follow up to an initial complaint is non existent. After the claim is filed you have no way to track the process or obtain information on the status of the claim. If the claim is given a number one would then be able to track the status of the claim. There has been no follow up on the information provided but for one letter stating "thank you for sending us the information." When an initial application is filed and the supporting documents are sent, the sender of the documents should be able to receive some feedback on whether the information provided was sufficient or if more information is needed. Communication goes a long way in keeping the public trust in federal agencies.
