Why should any speculator be given the ability to hold, long or short, more than the amounts most of the important world producers make, and/or consumers use in a year? The proposed position "limit" of 5,000 contracts (25 million ounces of silver) for a single speculator, is more than what 99% of the world’s silver producers and consumers make or use in a year, and will allow a single speculator to manipulate the market for everyone. Please reconsider the proposal, and substitute a more realistic 1500 contract (7.5 million ounce) position limit for silver.
