CFTC,
I take
great
interest in the precious metals
markets,
particularly silver. I am taking the opportunity to
provide my comments on two particular issues:
1
-
Please establish a reasonable speculative position limit of 1S00 or fewer contracts in COMEX silver
2 - Please ensure that hedging exemptions are only granted to legitimate hedgers.
These
steps
will stop the levels of concentration in COMEX silver futures that have been experienced
over the past few years on the short side of the market.
