Position limits
Dear Sir;
I am taking the opportunity to comment on the issue of the position
limits for the precious metals.
Please establish a limit of the speculative positions on the COMEX
silver to no more than 1500 contracts.
Also, please limit any hedging exemptions from those limits to
legitimate hedgers. And in closing, I would ask that you stop the
level of concentrated short positions in COMEX silver futures, that
have been seen for a number of years on the short side of the market.
