It is imperative for the health of our nation and indeed our society that we do not turn every aspect of our lives into a gambling bet. Not only does it encourage addictive and harmful behavior, it greatly incentivizes bad actors abusing insider knowledge or taking extreme and harmful actions to forces certain outcomes. There is literally no benefit to allowing this practice for society.
