I’m an active trader on Kalshi and Polymarkets purely because I enjoy sports gambling and I can’t do it legally otherwise. Despite me enjoying sports gambling, I mean “trading contracts (lol), I’d be a little sad to not have that ability anymore. That being said, I think allowing these things to go in large part unregulated is terrible for our society, particularly lower and middle class. There needs to be far more regulation on these because they are casinos trying to pretend like they aren’t and the vast vast majority of people lose money.
