RE: “Prediction Markets” and RIN 3038-AF65
This is gambling pure and simple. And this should be regulated (if allowed by law) the way all gambling sites are regulated by state law.
I object to the idea that inside information may (and has) been used by these "prediction Markets" to influence events. Whether it is the length of a White House Press Conference (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/white-house-briefing-fuels-insider-000428652.html} or the use of troops in Venezuela ( https://fortune.com/2026/01/12/polymarket-kalshi-insider-trading-prediction-markets-cftc-torres-titus-venezuela/) or the War in Iran (https://www.vox.com/podcasts/483033/polymarket-kalshi-betting-iran-war-assassination-missile-strikes) , people have knowledge and can influence these events to profit. Is this what we want as a country and a society??
