Dear Sir;
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the issue of position limits for precious metals.
Please establish a speculative position limit in COMEX silver of no more than 1800 contracts.
Please restrict any hedging exemptions from those limits to legitimate hedgers. Please stop the
levels of concentration in COMEX silver futures that have been experienced over the past few years
on the short side of the market. When the whole world wakes up, we, as Americans, do not want to
see an event similar to what happened during Hunt brothers event in 1980. Silver in our Indian
tradition represents a goddess of wealth, Laxmi. America has been blessed through 1980s,
however in the last couple of decades, artificially created bubbles of wealth have caused average
Americans to suffer. Please bring some discipline among
big bo),$
who are creating havoc,
employing unethical manipulation, to American families.
