I want to thank the Commission for holding the metals hearing in March. First off, I am not a gold/silver "nut" but
just someone who believes one should have a small percentage of PM's as a portfolio hedge. I have a very
limited knowledge of the futures market. However, based on the testimony at the hearing by the "experts" it does
seem something is amiss. The concentration in the market on the short side just does not seem ethical to say the
least. I think the testimony rendered that position limits are indeed warranted.
With all that is going on in the "financial world" today, I think it behooves the CFTC to act promptly. You took the
first step by holding the hearings.
